Alice Marie Hargett Morrison

Alice Marie Hargett Morrison, 77, passed away, Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at her home. She was born September 12, 1939, to Elvert Hargett and Willie Jane Hisaw Hargett Alexander. She worked for Blue Bell/ Red Cap and Quartet before retiring. She enjoyed collecting angels, John Deere and Coca Cola memorabilia, and spending time with her family.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Calthrop and Bro. W.C. Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Jumpertown Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Alice “Jennie” Benefield of Booneville; two sons, Billy J. Morrison of Corinth and Larry “Shorty” (Rhonda) Morrison of Jumpertown; nine grandchildren, Tracy (Mike) McDaniel, Jennie (Bo) Collier, Milinda (Mike) Floyd, David Estes, Ericka (Ron) Goodlow, Christy Bates, Heather Morrison, Al Roberts and Jessie Morrison; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchidlren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and David Alexander; one sister; and seven brothers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
