Emily Anne Thomason Prichard died May 31, 2019, at the Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Booneville. She was born to Louis Clyde and Annabel Reynolds Thomason on June 29, 1925, in Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from Columbus High School and attended Valdosta State and Auburn University. She was a member of Booneville First Baptist Church. She married David Harold Prichard on November 19, 1944, after a whirlwind courtship of 100 days. They celebrated their 70th anniversary before her husband died on February 19, 2015. Before retiring she worked as secretary at Booneville Middle School and later as a case worker at the Prentiss County Department of Human Services. She enjoyed being a member of the Pilot Club and the Woman's Club. Her hobbies were reading, needlepoint, and collectibles. She especially loved visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Memorial Park. McMillan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Clyde Prichard of Birmingham, Alabama; Annabel Lambert of Tishomingo; Susan Cartwright and Danielle (Hal) Willcoxon of Booneville; and one son, David L. Prichard (Caren) of Chipley, Florida. There are thirteen grandchildren, Shai Prichard of Germantown, Tennessee; Daniel (Wendy) Spain of Alabaster, Alabama; Emily (James) Faucher of Greensboro, North Carolina; Amanda (Michael) Drew of Huntsville, Alabama; Molly (Jason) Heathcock of Birmingham, Alabama; Chrissie (Chris) Vandevere of Houston, Texas; Sally Cartwright of Greensboro, North Carolina; Cassie (Josh) Riley of Chipley, Florida; Jared (Elizabeth) Prichard of San Antonio, Texas; Ryan Clark of Houston, Texas; Caitlyn (Grayson) Miller of Pensacola, Florida; Mary Beth Willcoxon of Chino, California; Adam (Vivian) Willcoxon of Fort Riley, Kansas; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Julia Anne, Travis, and Mae Heathcock; Mary Katherine, Audrey, Madeline, and Rebecca Faucher; Sarah Jane, Abigail, Hannah, and Leah Riley; Caleb and Noah Willcoxon, and Mason Prichard. Her special friend and caregiver was Arlene Austin of Booneville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 401 W Church Street, Booneville, MS 38829. Visitation will be from 11: A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to service time at McMillan Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Prichard was preceded in death by her husband, David Harold Prichard and her parents, Louis Clyde and Annabel Reynolds Thomason.
