

Annie Pearl Waters, 96, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. She was born October 11, 1919, in Prentiss County to James Mae and Exie Pearl Morris Alexander. She was a seamstress for Blue Bell for 45 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 70+ years. She enjoyed working, yard work and watching the Atlanta Braves. She will be missed by her pug, Sophie.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah (William) Scott; four grandchildren, Katie Taylor (Will) Conn, Tyson Taylor, Victoria Scott and Matthew (Lisa) Scott; and three great-grandchildren, Sawyer Richey, Mattie Magers Conn and Nicholas Scott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman in 2008; one son, William Herman Waters; her parents; two sisters, Virginia Rowan and Lula Mae Rowan; and four brothers, Eland, Leroy, Bruce and J.M. Alexander.
Pallbearers are Genie Alice Via, Mary Margaret Via, Jack Thompson, Billy Stone, Matthew Scott and Tyson Taylor.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
