Arleana McCreary

Flora Arleana Carr McCreary, 89, of Marietta died Monday, October 8, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Booneville. She was born July 16, 1923 to Will and Emma Milam Carr. She was a member of West Booneville Church of Christ and retired from General Electric in Memphis.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at McMillan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd McCreary; one sister, Lea Illa McCreary of Marietta; four nieces, Lafonda Lindsey (fiancé Kenny Bell), Pam (Rusty) Cole, & Janice Rutledge all of Booneville and Linda Jackson of Marietta; one nephew, Freddie (Mary) McCreary of Baldwyn; five great-nieces, Michele (Frankie) Rich, Misty Harris, Melinda (Henry) Gilbert, Janie (Ben) Foster, and Marla (Todd) Patterson; six great-nephews, Matt (Layne) Lindsey, Devin (Cynthia) Inman, Corey Jones, Chris McCreary, Jeff (Joyce) McCreary, and Marty (Elaine) McCreary; a host of great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 pm on Tuesday and until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
