Bobbie Gambill

Bobbie Jean Gambill, 91, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at Mockingbird Assisted Living in Booneville. She was born April 25, 1932, to Galligar Brian and Inez Chilcoat. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, her dogs, shopping, and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Morton officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son Michael Roberts (Lisa); stepson, Frank Gambill (Connie); stepdaughters, Joan Kelton (Danny), Sandy Davis and Ann Oswalt; sister, Sarah Davis; 14 grandchildren, Melanie Floyd, Greg White (Christi), Patricia Hall, Cheryl Hughes, Lisa Oswalt, Donna Oswalt, Mandy Oswalt, Frank Oswalt, Cody Kelton, Greg Davis, Chad Davis, Charity Busby, Rodney Gambill (Kelly) and Wesley Gambill; and 43 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gambill, Jr.; two sons-in-law, Jimmy Oswalt and Lamar Davis; her parents; six brothers, Ben Chilcoat, Walker Chilcoat, Brian Chilcoat, Forrest Chilcoat, Wade Chilcoat and Lynn Chilcoat; and five sisters, Lizzie Cockrell, Dorothy Turner, Linnie Flemons, Clinese Hamilton and Orpha Chilcoat; and two grandsons, Jeff Oswalt and Gary Oswalt.
