Charles Hooper Sr.

Charles Clifton Hooper, SR., 86, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born July 28, 1929, to Henry Grady and Lois Magnolia Pate Hooper. He worked in plastics manufacturing. He enjoyed flea markets and watching TV.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Smart and Bro. Jerry Hooper officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

He is survived by five sons, Marshall (Erma) Dowdy, Charles (Eloise) Hooper, Jr., Grady (Sue) Hooper, Tommy Hooper and Timmy (Patricia) Hooper; five sisters, Edith Davis, Betty Stacy, Brenda (James) Shouse, Sylvia Trofinchuck and Glenda King; one brother, J.W. (Lois Ann) Hooper; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lee Willis Hooper; his parents; one sister, Linda Hooper; four brothers, Billy, Hilton, Joe and Jimmy Hooper.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are John Dowdy, Shawn Cox, Matthew Hooper, J.J. Giesken, Daniel Hooper, Freddie Tyler and Todd Hooper.
