Connie TerHorst

Connie TerHorst, 76, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born April 25, 1949 in Beech Grove, Indiana. She enjoyed traveling to Michigan to visit friends and family and spending time with her husband. She was an avid reader and random trivia expert.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 P.M. on Monday, July 21, 2025, at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville, MS. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Her final resting place will be at Faith Memorial Park in Madison, AL near her mother.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, James “Jim” TerHorst; two sons, Bryan (Karlyn) Schell of North Hollywood, CA, and Eric (Christy) Schell of Booneville, MS; one step-son, Jason (Carrie) TerHorst of Belgium; one daughter, Kara (Bill) LaBonte of Bridgewater, MA; five grandchildren, Hunter TerHorst, Sawyer TerHorst, Ally LaBonte, Matt LaBonte and Jaxon Schell; and special friends Phil and Marcia VandenBerg.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine “Nana” Dodd; father, Jay Conlin; step-father Bill “Opah” Dodd; sister, Cindy Brightwell; and mother-in-law Overbek “Katie” TerHorst.
