David E. “Rastee” Denson, 86, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at The Landmark Community. He was born April 22, 1925, to David and Mary Milam Denson. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was the owner of Denson’s Garage. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2011, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Denson and Bro. Dwight Scott officiating. Burial will be in East Prentiss Cemetery.
He is survived by his son Randy (Lois) Denson of Anniston, AL; one brother, Richard Denson of New Site; and one grandson, Zack Denson of Anniston, AL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Chase Denson; his parents; and two sisters, Irene Burcham and Almeda Scruggs.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
