Dorothy Jean Stevens

Dorothy Jean Stevens, 81, of Booneville died Friday, January 20, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Germantown. She was born September 20, 1930 to Clifford and Florence Miller Glover. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Booneville and was a retired seamstress and inspector for Prentiss Manufacturing and Red Cap.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2012 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn (Larry) Dunahoo of Rienzi; one brother, Eddie Franklin (Carole) Glover of Columbus, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Monica (Craig) Senter of Thrasher; two great grandsons, Jimmy Wayne (Cassie) Senter and Samuel Steven Senter; one step-great granddaughter, Amber Leigh Russell of Fulton; two great-great grandchildren, Jemma Laurine Senter and Annistion Russell; six nieces; seven nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eston “Steve” Stevens; her parents; and an infant son.

Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 and until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
