Dorothy Wright

Dorothy Lou Wright, 87, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born March 22, 1929, to Ben and Onese Pounders Collier. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She worked for Golden Manufacturing for several years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 2, 2017, at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Ronnie Livingston and minister Dewayne Brown officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Wilford (Betsy) Wright; one sister, Mildred Barber; two grandchildren, Josh Wright and Ashley Wright; and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Wellington, Raelynn Wright and Lexton Wright.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Wright; her parents; two brothers, Aaron Collier and Joe Collier; and one grandson, Benjie Wright.

Pallbearers are Greg Collier, Chris Collier, Tony Barber, Bradley Ray Downs, Josh Moreland and Josh Jones.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
