

Zelma Estelle Hare Dodds, 98, of Booneville, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Cornerstone Health & Rehab in Corinth. She was born October 19, 1912 to Carl and Bertha George Hare. Estelle was a member of the Martin Hill Free Will Baptist Church, a factory worker, and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and crafts such as making purses, dolls, and quilting. She also loved gardening and flowers.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Brazil and Steven Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Martin Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Ann Crum of Corinth and Bobbie Jones (Raymond) of Booneville; one son, Donald Dodds (Debra) of Booneville; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert E. Dodds; two daughters, Yvonne Phillips and Shirley Dodds; two sons, Ruble Wayne and Dempsy Carroll Dodds; two sisters, Mozell West and Eudelle Phillips; and four brothers, Eugene, Leonard, Edward, and Ervin Hare.
Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Friday, July 1, 2011 at the funeral home, and until service time on Saturday.
