George Henry Goodin, 90, of Booneville, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS . He was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Booneville Masonic Lodge, and an avid ham radio operator for 40 plus years. George loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McCoy, officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Rinehart Goodin; his daughter, Amanda Bland (Jason); his grandchildren, Jordan Bland (Kimberly) and Annabelle Bland; his great-granddaughter, Mattie Caroline Bland; his sister, Carolyn Bullock; his niece, Cristy Tankersly; his great-niece, Kaylee Prater (Jakob), and his great-nephew, Jayce Tankersly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Festus Goodin and Annie Lou Tigrett Goodin.
