William Gerald Gray, 75, passed away September 1, 2018, at his home. He was born June 9, 1943, to Gene and Clynese Stennett Gray. He was a 1961 graduate of Marietta High School. He was a member of Booneville Church of Christ. He was a truck driver for Action/Lane Industries. He served in the Mississippi Army National Guard for 10 years. He loved God, family and his country, and was a true patriot. He enjoyed gardening, participating in the Golden Circle church group and spending time with his great-grandchildren. He was loved by all that knew him.

A celebration of life service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Jim Estes and Minister Greg Pollock officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.

He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 48 1/2 years, Pat Gray; one son, Jerry (Shellie) Parker of Walnut; six grandchildren, Justin (Victoria) Parker, Jacklyn (Brandon) Byrd, Jeriona (Shane) Estes, Jannah Beth Parker, Bethany (Jason) Young and Josh (Stephanie) Barnes; two brothers, Eddie (Vicki) Gray of Fulton and Ken (Angie) Gray of New Site; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betty Warren; and his grandparents, W.A. and Ethel Gray and Leonard and Irene Stennett.

Pallbearers are Justin Parker, Bill Warren, Eric Gray, Logan Gray, Harrison Gray, Kyle Gray, James Austin Stennett.

Honorary pallbearers are Ty Byrd, Jake Young, Street Young, Able Young, Kase Mackin, Tim Sartain, Larry Gray and Billy Stroupe.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, Gerald would want memorials to be made to church or charity of choice.
