

Grace Holley Pate Rogers, 89, passed from this world June 22, 2013. She was a resident at Longwood Community Living Center for several years. She was born August 7, 1923, to Leland and Minnie Scott Holley. She was a Baptist and loved her church in Memphis where she lived most of her life. She worked in and office, first in a business owned by her husband called Tri State Limb and Brace. Then for years she worked at the Holiday Inn in Memphis. She was a member of Eastern Star. She loved to travel.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwain Morgan officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. at Memphis Memory Gardens .
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Pate of Odessa, MO and Larry Pate of Houma, LA; one daughter, Brenda Pate Hunter (Mike) of Mountain View, AR; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and friends; and her caregiver for the past five years her niece, Doris Pace.
Grace the last of her siblings was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clarance Holley and Harold Holley; two sisters, Lucille Hoard and Ethel Taylor; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Pate; one grandson, Lynn Pate; her first husband and the father of her children, Vernon Pate; and her second husband, Bobby Rogers.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday and until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
