

Leland Harold Holley, 81, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, at the Graceland Nursing Home in Oxford. He was born November 3, 1929, to Leland Sterling and Minnie Bell Scott Holley. He was a veteran of the Mississippi National Guard and a welder.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Herman Clarke officiating. Burial will be in the Holley Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Betty Hathaway Holley of Ormond Beach, FL; one daughter, Theresa (Joe Gray) Armstrong of Jacksonville, FL,; two sons, Danny (Barbara) Holley of Olive Branch and Donnie (Elaine) Holley of North Carolina; two step-daughters, Tina (Carl) Barbour of Ormond ,FL, and Terri Hathaway of Texas; one step-son, Tim Hathaway of Memphis; two sisters, Lucille Hoard of Marietta and Grace Rodgers of Memphis; one brother-in-law, Dayton Taylor of Booneville; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Laura Ann Horn Holley in 1972; his parents; one sister, Ethel Taylor; one brother, Clarence Holley; and one granddaughter, Courtney Holley.
