Helen Smith Holland, 93, passed away on FrIday, August 7, 2015, at Baldwyn Nursing Facility. She was born June 17, 1922. She was retired from the manufacturing business and a member of Thrasher Baptist Church.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 9, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Rakestraw officiating. Burial will be in Gaston Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Drue (John) Sutherland of Tupelo; one son, Doug (Barbara) Holland of Booneville; three granddaughters, Carmon Dye, Holly Allgood, and Liza Gauthier; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W. A. “Bud” Holland; two sisters, Opal Walden and Alice Franks; and one brother, Carmon Smith.
Visitation will be 5-7pm on Saturday, August 8, 2015, and until service time on Sunday at McMillan Funeral Home.
