Horace Edward Lambert

Horace Edward Lambert, 68, of Marietta died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. He was born March 6, 1944 to Earl and Lou Vada Massey Lambert. He was a farmer and member of Thrasher Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 21, 2012 at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Ronnie Livingston and Bro. Doug Rakestraw officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Spencer Lambert; one brother, James C. “Pat” (Betty) Lambert of Booneville; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends from Longwood Community Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Linda Lou Lambert Jones; and one brother, Bobby Massey.

Pallbearers will be Case Knight, Bubba Knight, David McCleery, Hayden Shadburn, Tony Christian, Kevin Stevens, Jerry Trimble, Mitchell Jackson, Mark Jackson, Billy Spencer, Tommy Young, Tommy Massey, and David Massey.

Visitation will be 5-9pm Saturday, October 20, 2012 and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
