Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. William Copeland and Bro Danny Stites officiating. Burial will follow in the Mormon Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Lawson; one son, Danny Lawson (Brenda); two grandchildren, Breanna Lawson and Ashley Lawson all of Booneville; six sisters, Janet Bishop of Baldwyn, Bobbie Faye Thomas of Booneville, Evelyn Prentiss of Booneville, Margaret Hayes (Munsie) of Tupelo, Shelia Morrison (Earl) of Corinth, and Nancy Lawson of Booneville; five brothers, Billy Park Lawson, L.P Lawson(Mary), and Eugene (Ann) all of Booneville, Joe Lawson (Louise) of Gala, Va., and Glenn Lawson (Shelia) of Vina, Al; one special brother in law, Bill Cole of Rienzi; and a special friend and half sister, Emma Grove of Booneville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vance I. and Rosie Pearl Dodds Lawson; and one sister Peggy Cole.

Pallbearers will be Shane Burcham, Jeremy Lawson, Richard Thorne, Kevin Aldridge, Josh Lawson, and Jon Senter.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and until service time on Tuesday.
