James “Jim” Dobbins, 71 of Glen, MS and formerly of Booneville, MS passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Selmer Post Acute Nursing Facility in Selmer, TN. Jimmy loved being in the outdoors, doing target shooting, hanging out with his friends, and most of all was his love for automobiles, specially building them and repairing engines.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Booneville Cemetery with Bro. Jason Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at McMillan Funeral Home.
He is survived by his nephew, James Cox and (Martha); and two stepsons, Edward Evans and Robert Evans.
He is preceded by his parents, James and Lillian Dobbins; his wife, Rebecca Dobbins; two sisters, Mary Vannette Dobbins and Judith Ann Dobbins.
