James Allen Kizer, 51, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. He was born June 27, 1963, to Earl Ray and Dorothy Frances Barnes Kizer. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed tending his chickens and gardening.
A celebration of his life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2014, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Wilson and Bro. Tommy Young officiating.
He is survived by his son, Jake (Krista) Kizer of Booneville; his mother, Dorothy Kizer; one sister, Angie (Sterling) Yearber of Decatur, AL; one brother, Billy (Joy) Kizer of Booneville; two grandchildren, Graclyn Kizer and Jeremiah Mace.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Kizer.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.
