James Alton Park, 100, of Booneville passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born December 14, 1912 to Arthur and Myrtle Prather Park. He was retired from Rockwell Manufacturing and attended Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday, November 15, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. J. C. Prather officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.
He is survived by one daughter, Marjorie Park of Booneville; and one great-grandson, Malachi Pee of Booneville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ara Walbaum; and two brothers, Pruitt and Leslie Park; one daughter, Juanita Evetts; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Whitlock Pee.
Visitation will be 2-3pm on Friday at McMillan Funeral Home.
