James Murray Wilhite Sr.

James M. Wilhite, Sr., 66, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, Ms.. He was a veteran of the U.S Army where he served during the Korean War. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church of Booneville. He enjoyed attending auctions and working his booth at the Flea Market.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby White officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and until service time on Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Doug Prentiss, Wesley Spencer, Tony Miller, Eugene Miller, Jackie Prentiss, and Chris Prentiss.

He is survived by one son, James Wilhite, Jr. (Melissa) of Corinth; one brother, Don E Wilhite (Becky) of Booneville; one sister in law, Nancy Wilhite of Booneville; and three grandchildren, Madison, Harrison, and Norah Kate Wilhite of Corinth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James P. Wilhite, Sr and Maggie Pearl Prentiss Wilhite; one sister, Linda Wilhite; and one brother, Clarence A. Wilhite.
