Jewel Mae Vandevander Rushing, 86, of Booneville died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Booneville. She was born January 26, 1926 to Bernard and Rosie Bennett Vandevander She was retired from Quartet Manufacturing and a member of East Booneville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, January 13, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Ronald Michael officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by one aunt, Dewdrop Shields of Booneville; one uncle, Clarence Bennett of New Site; a host of cousins; and a special friend, Dr. Cliff Cartwright.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 5-9 PM on Saturday and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
