Jimmy Carol Caviness, 67, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth. He was born January 24, 1949, to J.C. “Shorty” and Bertha Mae Yarber Caviness. He was a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran where he earned a Purple Heart. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
A Celebration of Life will be at 4:00 P.M Friday, June 3, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Sumner’s Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Caviness (Jason) Hancock and Carol Enlow; one son, Thomas (Dee) Caviness; one sister, Rebecca Ann Caviness; one brother, Tommy Caviness; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Billie Carpenter and Linda McDonald.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
