Jimmy Dale Livingston, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was born December 7, 1940, to William Webster and Mamie Cook Livingston. He graduated from Booneville High School, and then North East Mississippi Junior College earning a degree in architecture. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he served as a city letter carrier for 25+ years. He was a Mason and member of Lodge 0188 in Marietta. He enjoyed being “a full time loafer”, fixing up cars, watching NASCAR racing, NEMCC basketball games, drinking coffee with the Huddle House Coffee Crew, playing with his dog, Taco of 13 years, and most of all, watching his grandchildren play ball.
A celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 30, 2018, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Jones and Mr. Mike Lester officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery
He is survived by one daughter, Gini (Tommy) Pace; two sisters, Sue Scroggins and Louise Whitley; two grandchildren, Lauren (Cody) Hall and Zack (Kaci) McCoy; and one great-granddaughter, Miley Blaike Hall
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jackie Livingston; and one brother, Doyle Livingston.
Pallbearers are Glen “Doc” Livingston, Danny Whitley, Donnie Livingston, Davey Whitley, Chris Scroggins, Jason Scroggins, Roger Henderson and Richard Tollison.
Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Huddle House Coffee Crew.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
