Julia Lauderdale Cox

Julia Lauderdale Cox, 95, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Landmark Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 8, 1918 to Robert Ann and William F. “Bud” Lauderdale. She was a member of Jumpertown Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2014 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Morgan and Bro. Milton Koon officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

Survivors are two daughters, Janice (Virgil) Robinson of Booneville and Nita (Jim) Gunter of Ridgeland; two sons, Rudy D. (Diann) Cox and Tim (Tammy) Cox both of Boonville; one brother, Robert C. “K-Boy” (Polly) Lauderdale of Pisgah; nine grandchildren, Cindy (Doug) Lytal, Jeff Gunter, Jennifer Gunter, Michael Cox, Matthew (Jenny) Cox, Mark Cox, Marli (Justin) Denson, Evan Cox and Martin (Krissy) Cox; thirteen great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Doyle T. Cox; her parents; one son, Larry T. Cox; six sisters and five brothers.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 24, 2014 from 5:00- 9:00pm and until service time on Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home.
