Lillian Dee Gaines

Lillian Dee Gaines, 95, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born August 20, 1920 to Evan and Annie Gaines. She retired from The Villager, a ladies ready-to-wear shop. She was an active member of the Booneville First Baptist Church and she was a long-time member of the Booneville B and PW Club. In her spare time, she loved playing card games with her friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Friday, November 20, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by two brothers, Robert (Mary Ann) Gaines of Lexington, TN and Fred (Jean) Gaines of Booneville; two nieces, Emily McWillams of Lexington, TN and Martha Lynn (Chuck) Davis of Tupelo and two nephews, Stan (Jennifer) Gaines of Germantown, TN and Steve (Candi) Gaines of Corinth.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Edith Gaines, Dena Gaines, Ilene Taft and Sammie James.

Visitation will begin at 10:00AM Friday, November 20, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home.
