Lora Bell Eaton

Lora Bell Eaton, 92, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born March 4, 1923 to Clyde and Mattie Bell Goddard. She was a faithful member of Zion Rest Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be at 3:00PM Sunday, November 1, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Tony Brown and Minister Mike Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Rest Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Oudia (Robert) Simmons of Marietta; two sons, Harold (Martha) Eaton of Booneville and Larry (Karen) Eaton of Marietta; one daughter-in-law, Donna Eaton of Marietta; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, one sister, Ruth Strakis of Lake Worth, FL; two brothers, Bobby (JoAnn) Goddard and James (Donnie) Goddard both of Booneville and two sister-in-laws, Margaret Goddard and Virginia Goddard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gettys Eaton; her parents; one son, Randy Eaton; three sisters, Junita Gann, Ester Geno and Mary Helen Goddard; three brothers, Richard, Tommy and Smith Goddard and one sister-in-law, Edith Goddard.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Stroupe, Eddie Stroupe, Scotty Powell, David Martin, Andrew Brown and Dwain Brown.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 9:00PM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home.
