Mauveline Rone

Mary Mauveline Rone, 82, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, at the Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Booneville. She was born May 2, 1928, to Grover and Irene Gullett Padgett. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. W.C. Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Dean) McGaughy of Burnsville; her son, Larry Rone of Booneville; three sisters, Madgeline Miller of Enterprise, AL , Reba Michael of Rienzi, Joan (Bobby) Goddard of Booneville; one brother, Doyle Padgett of Dry Creek; five grandchildren, Tammy (Greg) Bowen, Dionne (Terry) Lambert, Chris (Denise) McGaughy, Michael (Tammy) Rone and Christy (Orville) Hicks; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, R.J. Rone in 1992; her parents, and two brothers, John Padgett and Earl Padgett.

Pallbearers are Michael Rone, Chris McGaughy, Terry Lambert, Chance Hicks, Lucas Lambert, Courtney Prather and Collin Rone.

Honorary pallbearers are Greg Bowen and Dustin Bowen.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
