

Mayno Crawley Senter, 88, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born March 11, 1928, to James Thomas “Tommy” and Edna Mae Leathers Crawley. She was an active member of Zion Rest Church of Christ, where she cared for the flowers for many years and took part in the activities of the church. She was a member of the Community “Golden Girls” along with Marie Holley, Eloise Floyd, Lorene Taylor, Bobbie Huddleston and special friend, Exie Holcomb. This group could be seen locally enjoying themselves while out to eat. Known as “Senter” to her grandchildren, she was always planting flowers the yards of her children and grandchildren. She was known for seeing the best in everyone, and loved helping others.
A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Zion Rest Church of Christ with Minister Tony Brown and Minister Grady Wigginton officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home.
She is survived by two children, David Senter and Linda (Allen) Huddleston Presley; two sisters, Beatrice Ricks and Mildred Henson; five grandchildren, Renai (David) Elliott, Jennifer (Steve) Wroten, Jamie (Chris) McCormick; Jon (Amy) Senter and Jason (Jessica) Huddleston; 10 great-grandchildren, Grace and Claire Elliott, Sara, Georgia, Andrew and Jace McCormick, Will Wroten, Noah Senter, and Neil and Bella Huddleston; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Gerald Senter; two sons, Richard and Patton Senter; daughter-in-law, Faye Senter; Son-in-law, Kenneth Huddleston; her parents; and siblings, Buster, Billy, and C.D. Crawley, Polly Downs, Lamoise Foxx, Lila Williams and Ann Thomas.
Pallbearers are Jon Senter, Jason Huddleston, David Elliott, Steve Wroten and Chris McCormick.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maywood Christian Camp or Sanctuary Hospice House.
