Mildred Kathryn Potts Martin, 95, of Booneville, died Thursday, November 3, 2011, at her home. She was born February 9, 1916 to Leonard and Alma Moore Potts. She was a member of Carolina United Methodist Church and she was retired having worked for Sherman’s Department Store and Floyd’s Drug Store.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Powell officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by one son, Terry Kyle Martin of Booneville; two grandchildren, Grant (Amy) Martin and Alexia (Kevin) Owens; two great grandchildren, Hannah Martin, Grady Owens, and Montanna Eaton; two great-great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Elminia Potts of Booneville; special niece, Kathy Green of Booneville; several nieces and nephews; and her care-giver, Sahara Wilson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Kyle Martin; parents; three brothers, Leland, Vance, and twin brother, Billy Potts.
