Nancy "Susie" Yates

Nancy “Susie” Yates, 87, of the Dry Creek Community, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at her home. She was a member of Paul’s Chapel Church. Susie loved fishing and spending time with her pets which she adored, Toby and Hazel.

A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Paul’s Chapel Church with Bro. Tim Bullock and Bro. Rex Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Paul’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until service time on Tuesday at the church.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Neda Morrison, Kim Hargett (Doug), Tim Bullock (Tammy), Rex Bullock (Pam) and Buffie Moore (Jason); her special sister-in-law, Catherine Yates.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lizzie Yates; her brother, William Yates; her sisters, Louise Bullock and Virginia Grisham; her niece, Sharon Bullock; her nephews, Myron Bullock, Lyle Bullock, and Wendell Yates; and her great-nephew, Adam Hargett.

Special thanks to Susie’s caregivers, Diane Sanders, Lisa Beard, and Sandra Stroupe for all their love and care shown to her.

Pallbearers will be Corey Hargett, Cody Bullock, Daniel Bullock, Alan Bullock, John Bullock, Colby Moore, and Adam Hargett (In memory with us).
