Neva Jones Bennett, 76, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born March 26, 1934, to Prentiss and Nell Jones. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and doing for others. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete McCoy and Bro. Jerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Cains Chapel Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna (Marty) Woodruff of Booneville, Ranell (Sterling) Hogeland and Renea (Mike) Jones, both of Iuka; two sons, Hal (Mary) Bennett and Mike (Hilda Tackett) Bennett, both of Booneville; one aunt, Eva Lambert of Booneville; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Franklin Bennett in 1997; her parents; four sisters, Martha G. Jones, Harmie Jones, Lucy Arnold and Sue Hunkapiller; and three brothers, Prentiss Warren Jones, Tony Jones and Roy Jones.
Pallbearers are her nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Donna.I am so sorry for your loss.A mother is the dearest person in your life.I lost mine several years ago,and I know what you are going through.Time will heal the hurt but for now lean on God and he will make it easier to bare.Will keep you and your family in my prayers!!
