

Herschel Riley Presley, 65, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born September 4, 1950, to Herschel and Dean White Presley. He was a teacher and coach for Booneville High School for 39 years and at Ripley for one year. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, watching Mississippi State play football, watching his grandson play baseball and his granddaughter play softball and dance.
A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Booneville High School Gymnasium with Bro. Matt Wilburn and Bro. Jason Dukes officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Miller Presley; one daughter, Alison (her friend, Jeffrey) Wildmon of Booneville; two sisters, Martha Kay Windham of Booneville and Sandra (Larry) Cole of Ripley; two brothers, Tony (Beth) Presley of Booneville and Jody (Sonia) Presley of Burnsville; and two grandchildren, Kaylee Grace Wildmon and Riley Kole Wildmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers are Mike Mattox, Rick Coggin, Ray Scott, Kenny Hicks, Trey Ward, Jim Drewery, Rickey Neaves, Terry King and Jock Calamese.
Honorary pallbearers are the current members of the BHS football team.
Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00P.M. at the funeral home and Monday one hour prior to the service at the gym.
