Ronald Leslie "Ronnie" Fulghum, age 74, of Booneville, Mississippi, passed from this Earth on March 15 at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Ronnie spent many years as a Scout Master with the Yocona Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Ronnie was proud of being an Eagle Scout since 1966, receiving the Order of the Arrow in 1962 and the Founders Award in the Order of the Arrow in 1984, receiving the Silver Beaver in 1996 and his service as Director and staff of COPE courses at Camp Yocona.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debora Fulghum of Booneville; his two daughters, Courtney Smith and husband, Jason of Talladega, Alabama, Cassy Fulghum of Iuka; his two stepsons, Ryan Glass and wife, Amber, of Oxford, and Shane Glass of Booneville; and his granddaughter, Katie Glass of Booneville.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Fulghum and Lota Fulghum and his sister, Gloria Fulghum.
McMillian Funeral Home of Booneville is entrusted with arrangements. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Booneville City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home for the love and care they gave Ronnie during his extended stay, Gentiva Hospice staff for the wonderful care they have given him during the past year, and to their family and friends for the calls, text, thoughts and most importantly the many prayers from all over the world. It is those prayers that have kept us going during the last few days.
