Ronnie Cole

James Ronald “Ronnie” Cole, 65, passed away surrounded by his family Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on September 3, 1951, to Jesse D. and Virginia Lowe Cole. He was a member of Gaston Baptist Church. He worked as a Captain on the Booneville Fire Department, for Heritage Cable/Primestar and Quartet before becoming disabled. He enjoyed woodworking, yard work and cars.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Brown officiating. Burial will be in Gaston Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Donita Stamper Cole; one son, Jamie (Angela) Cole; his mother Virginia Cole; two grandchildren, Katie Beth Cole and Jonathan Cole; and a host of relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Julie Cole; and one brother, Raymond Cole.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Gaston Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, or Sanctuary Hospice House.
