Mrs. Ruby was truly a real”trip”. She was fun outside the classroom but serious as she could be in the classroom. She also taught at Ingomar in the late 50s. She was our senior class sponsor, who survived a fun senior trip with our class to New Orleans. We couldn’t wait each day to see the great outfit she would be wearing to school while she was swishing her ponytail. Yes, we have wonderful memories of this special lady. She helped us celebrate our 48th class anniversary year before last at a party at Ingomar. She was full of energy, full of fun, full of love for each of us. She was kind of like the Everready battery bunny. She just kept on running. We send our love and respect up to her and thank her for our memories.

Coach Lex Cain and Mrs. Ruby Cain were our Senior class sponsors my senior year -1962. They also were teachers in some of my classes. They were loved by their students and I have fond memories of them both .That year we had our senior trip to New York and Washington D C and they were our chaperones. We had so much fun with them. This was Senior class at Ecru High School. Condolences to all Mrs. Ruby’s family!
