Sherri Lynn Anderson York

Sherri Lynn Anderson York, 45, of Booneville, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Booneville. She was born August 25, 1965 to Marion and Maxine Chance Anderson. She worked as a heavy machinery operator for Kimes and Stone Construction. She loved her special pet, Jasper.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the New Site Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Roy York, Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer (Mitchell) Pounds of Booneville and Christina Nicole (Norman) Browning of New Albany; two sons, James (Jennifer) Taylor of Baldwyn and Joshua Ryan York; four grandchildren, Braxton Pounds, Braley Pounds, Brianna Taylor, and Brigit Pounds; parents-in-law, Thomas Roy and Lisa York Sr.; a brother-in-law, Billy Crossen of New Albany; and special friends, Amanda and Dustin Cole.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sharon Crossen; two brothers, Robert Hill and James Gingerich; and her best friend, Natasha Cole.

Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 and until service time on Thursday.
