Bertha Margaret Medlin

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Thacher Funeral Home, 629 East Morgan Street, Boonville, MO. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior on Monday beginning at 10:00 am.

Bertha was born on October 13, 1926 in Cooper County, MO to Henry William & Anna Katherine Schmutzler Rademann. She was united in marriage on August 18, 1951 to Roy Kenneth Medlin and to this union 2 daughters were born. Bertha was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing and was an avid reader. She was also an avid pet lover. Bertha was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, and an Officer of the Bunceton PTO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers, Victor, Adolph, Alvin and Paul Rademann, and a sister, Mathilda Williams.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Wanda Graff and her husband, Warren, of Prairie Home, MO and Donna Medlin, of Springfield, MO, 3 sister-in-laws, Evelyn Rademann, of Pilot Grove, MO, Mary Jane Medlin, of Republic, MO, and Helen Farris, of Glen Carbon, IL., 3 granddaughters, Holly Twenter and her husband, Pat of Boonville, MO, Heather Sullard and her husband, Jacob, of Prairie Home, MO, and Hilary Cole and her husband, Isaac of Lone Jack, MO, and 8 great-grandchildren, Kendra Stinson, Ty Stinson, and Avery Sullard, all of Prairie Home, MO, Brendan Twenter, Ashlyn Twenter and Chandler Twenter, all of Boonville, MO, and Meredith Cole and Samuel Cole, of Lone Jack, MO.

Memorial donations may be given to the Zion Lutheran Church Ladies Aid or the Central Missouri Food Bank.
