A visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Church Cemetery.
Mary Lee was born August 4, 1927 in Center, Missouri, the daughter of Elmer and Anna Lee (Rubison) Anderson. Being an only child, Mary Lee became very close to her cousin, Betty Jo. In high school, Mary starred on the varsity basketball team all four years.
On June 1, 1947, in St. Paul Catholic Church in Center, MO she was united in marriage to Charles E. Klein who preceded her in death. They met at a Fourth of July picnic.
Mary Lee was a supportive wife to her husband and a loving mother to her children. She enjoyed helping at school when her children were growing up. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and being a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mary Lee is survived by her six children: Patricia (spouse Danny) Daniell of Wilmington, IL; Mary Katherine Williams of Normal, IL; Barbara Daniell of Bourbonnais, IL; Joe (spouse Susan) Klein of Porter, TX; Bill (spouse Thea) Klein of Tulsa, OK; Ron (spouse Rebecca) Klein of Bloomington, IL; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul grade school.
