“Mary blew into this world large (ten pounds) and in charge. She was the baby of our family. She spoke early and often. The complete sentences that came out of her tiny little mouth drew the gazes and comments of strangers. Hard as we might try, she ruled our roost.

Throughout her short life she made friends wide and far. She was a defender of the underdog. Mary loved hard, protected fiercely, and lived her life in abundance.

Mary made us four. She will forever hold that place in our hearts. ”

Ron and family,
I was very sorry to hear about your daughter. I know of no words to share to ease your grief. Just know there are friends both old and new who care and wish they could do more to help.

Cheri, Ron, and. Addie, I am so sorry for the profound loss you all are experiencing. I remember Addie being in Mrs. Rau’s 2nd grade class where I was a para (I was Ms. Drew then). Mary would come bopping into the room when we had parties or just coming along with Cheri to pick Addie up from school. I remember her sweet little smile and her bright inquisitive eyes like it was yesterday. She had these precious little chubby cheeks that were absolutely full of joy.
I wish I had some magical words that could ease your pain. I’m asking God to wrap you in the comfort of His presence as you go through the motions of the days to come. Mary will always be close as she continues to fill every corner of your hearts until God brings you together again one day. Many hugs and prayers for you all.

I remember when Mary and her family moved to Cheyenne from Rawlins. Mary & Tiffany became fast friends right away! They did everything together and they had a loving friendship that most people only dream of! They were both really good volleyball 🏐 players and we traveled all over Wyoming together watching our girls play in tournaments! These were some of the best memories! We enjoyed Cheyenne Frontier Days together and spending time together during the holidays! Mary was either with us at our house or Tiffany was with Mary at her house. We thought of Mary like our second daughter and she called us Mom and Dad! We will miss her so much! Rest In Peace sweet, beautiful girl! We love you! Rob, Kim and Tiffany!

I loved seeing her face lean over my counter to see her counselor! She was a light and a joy! Cheri I have thought of you and prayed for you since the first time we spoke. If you ever need to talk you know where to find me. Remember all the joy she gave you! I will be praying for your family over these next few weeks and months. I am sorry for your loss.

I remember walking up to Central School with Mary and my daughters to pick up the older girls from school, Mary and the younger girls weren’t yet in kindergarten. As we neared the school I saw a mom who had tragically and suddenly lost her young son who was there to pick up her older child. As I neared the school, I was petrified in thought and voice, wondering what I could possibly say that would be ok. Without hesitation, Mary ran up to that mother gave a big hug and said “well, hello”!!! Thank you for that moment, Mary, I will never forget it. You were unique from the day you came to the day you left.❤️

Mary was a close friend to my daughter during their high school days, she was such a good friend. I loved Mary's outgoing and friendly personality and her love for all my kids. She and I once shared a 9hr drive to TX to visit my daughter and attend her Homecoming at her new TX school. My family will always cherish her memory and fun times. Mary made this picture collage for Ryann when she moved. We will miss her and your family is in our prayers.
