Allen S Marks

Allen Solomon Marks (Markowsky), 83, of Manchester, NH, formerly of Boston and Newton MA, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2012. Born in Boston’s West End on June 24, 1929, Allen was the son of the late Lena (Cohen) Marks and the late Oscar Marks. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sarah ‘Betty’ Marks. Cherished father of Eileen and Ken Marks and the late Bruce Marks. Grandfather of Shari, Jacklyn, Alex, Justin, Amanda, and Destiny Marks, and Andrew MacLeod. Great-Grandfather of Michael Zona, Heaven and Madison Danielli, and Moxie and Viva MacLeod. Brother of the late Louise, Elliot, and Robert Marks. He leaves behind his sisters-in-law Maria Nuttoli and her husband Enrico, Glenda McShane and her husband Paul, and Arleen Marks, as well as his brother-in-law Emil Fredette. Loving Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Per Allen’s request services will be held in the Chapel at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton MA on Saturday September 15th at 11am.
