Andrew Daniel Puopolo of Boston’s North End passed away at home on March 17, 2022. Son of the late Rocco and Eleanor “Helen” (Ardolino) Puopolo. Loving father of Wilder Zandonella of Glastonbury, Connecticut, Robert Rundin of Chico, California, and the late Danny and Andy Puopolo. Cherished grandfather of Evan and Logan Zandonella. Dear brother to Annamay Porrovecchio and her husband Sonny of Medford, Robert “Bobby” Puopolo of Revere, Stella LoVerme and her husband Charles of Medford, Rocco “Ricky” Puopolo and his wife Diane of Boston, and the late Daniel “Boonie”, David, and Christopher Puopolo. Beloved partner to Phyllis Ciampa of Boston. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who adored him. Andrew was known for his humor, his kindness and adoration for his family (evidenced by the hundreds of framed photos in his home), and his love of Doo-wop. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover Street, Boston on Thursday March 31st at 10:30am. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
