Angiolina Pizzicannella

Angiolina (LaVita) Pizzicannella of Winthrop and formerly of East Boston, passed away on June 13, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mirabella, Italy and the wife of the late Remo Pizzicannella. Loving mother of Maria Pizzicannella, Luigi Pizzicannella and his wife Christine and Valentina “Tina” Pizzicannella all of Winthrop. Cherished Nonni of Kristina Pizzicannella-Murphy and her husband Daniel of Winthrop; “Old Nonna” of Dominic and Giuliana Pizzicannella-Murphy of Winthrop. Dear sister of Josie Cimildoro and her late husband Frank of Milton, Michael LaVita of NH and his late former wife Carol, the late Janice Scalcione and her surviving husband Jack of East Boston, and Luigi LaVita and his surviving wife Kathy of Peabody. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive visitors on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm in the J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING ATTENDANTS AT FRONT DOOR. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10am in the St. John The Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St, Winthrop. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
