To Barbara, Friends and Family,
Much love, energy and good wishes to you, Barbara, and to your family and friends. Their tributes are so deserved. Such a brave and dear soul. When I knew you lived upstairs and had a diet different from your family - or so the doctors ordered - my heart went out to you. Yes, your smile was ready and your spirit keen. I will visualize this next chapter of yours & you - having all you so deserve. Much love and blessings to you, Barbara.

Dear Barbara,
You are sorely missed. Your positive attitude and smile will stay with me all always. I remember Linda and I would walk you to corner of Prince and Salem St. to catch the bus to school, you would walk down the hill with such grace and happiness. Despite all your challenges and set backs with being in the hospital and the Rehab you stayed cheerful and optimistic. You had the best ability to laugh despite your discomforts. I will miss you. You are now with your family so I know you are happy and free. I know your doctors will miss you too,
Your Friend

To all of Barbara's family and friends (many), my sincere condolences in the passing of Barbara.
I got to know Barbara over 40 years ago during my FDA days when we were all so much younger. Barbara always exhibited that wonderful smile and great sense of humor with whomever or wherever she was. She was an inspiration to all of us at the FDA and with her many friends and family. The world is a less happy place with her departure, but now she will finally be able to rest with those who have passed before her. May GOD be with her and you all.

Barb and Sheesh and I became friends in 1976 when we all worked at the FDA. The 3 of us have been friends for more than 40 years and were somewhat of a dynamic trio back in the day. I remember when we met (in our 20's) Barbara told me the doctors had said she wouldn't live beyond the age of 30! That shows how much they really knew! Barbara had a lot of energy in those days and often walked faster than I did! She was one of the most kind, compassionate and positive people I've ever known. She never complained about her situation and couldn't understand how perfectly healthy people had so much to complain about. She certainly grew tired of being back and forth from the hospital and the rehab, which seemed to take up much of her time in the past several years, but she still enjoyed her "stories" and sports teams, and visiting with friends and family. She missed her sister terribly, but was thankful for Frannie, Michelle and Michael, whom she adored and bragged on at length whenever we talked. She was a good friend and a shining light in my life, as I'm sure she was to everyone she knew. What a blessing that she was able to spend her last evening on earth with her family, at her favorite Feast, and was able to join her sister and parents while she slept! Who could ask for anything more? Barb, I will miss you terribly, but I know you have met the Lord and are walking side by side with your family on healthy legs in a beautiful, joyful place. I love you, my friend. Rest in Peace.
