Carita Mottola

Carita (Riccio) Mottola of Boston’s North End on January 1, 2016 at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Ippolito Mottola. Loving mother of Pasquale Mottola and his late wife Joanne of the North End, Carmela Iarrobino and her late husband Augustino of Norwood, Tony Mottola and his wife Elda of Stoneham, Mary Lepore and her husband Franco of Arizona, Armando Mottola and his wife Ann of Medford, Angelo Mottola and his wife Kathy of North Carolina, Anna Skutul and her husband Charles of Quincy, and the late Anthony Mottola. Cherished grandmother of Donna, Rose, Anthony, Gus, Tony, John, Junior, Paul, Robert, Melissa, Frances, Mario, Leanne, Cara, Sophia, Angelina, David and Billy. Great-grandmother of 36 and Great-great-grandmother of 2. The family will receive visitors in the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston, on Thursday from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:45am in St. Leonard Church, corner of Hanover and Prince St., Boston. To join procession to church, please be at the funeral home for 8:45am. Services will conclude with entombment in St. Michael Mausoleum, Roslindale.
