Dear "Yaya" I love you...always. We will stand sure and smile and say, "Your stuck with me." I would have happily taken the life sentence. Love brought you to us, and created a bond like no other. It is an honor to be your grandaughter. Thank you for all your love, selfishly I still want more. I will share your stories, dreams and love. Your memory WILL live forever.

Dear Matthew, Dec. 12, 2010

Carolyn and I are very sad to learn of dear Christina Anderson’s sudden death on Dec. 1, but we want you to know how much we appreciate your taking the time to write us to explain the tragic circumstances under which this happened.

You know, of course, how very much Carolyn and I loved Christina and your father, and how much we enjoyed the many good times we had with them in and around Boston and at home in The Schoolhouse.

Rae and Christina were both very special to us, as individuals, and as a loving, caring, interesting, and fun-loving couple who were obviously meant for each other and meant to be together. It was always a joy to be in their company.

Now, they are together again, and an era has passed that meant so much to us all.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible for us to travel to Boston on Monday for the funeral service. However, we will be making a donation to the Spectrum Adult Day Activities Program as we know how very much this program helped Christina in her last years without Rae.

You and Cheryl and your family have been so wonderful in your loving and caring for Christina since your father passed away.

Please do let us know how Cheryl is doing. Is she in the hospital? Was she badly injured?

We do hope that Cheryl is well and that you will all be together for Christmas.

With love to you both, and best wishes to your family,

John and Carolyn Wray

P.S. Please do keep us posted as to when the memorial service is scheduled in the spring as we would like to attend if at all possible.

Dear Christina , As my mother for the last four decades you will be missed so much. We will remember all the wonderfully kind things that you did for all that were within your circle and the many kind things and reaching out to all people with a kind, cherrishing, and accepting attitude to all . you were a subtantial and vital part of our family and the void you leave will not be replaced but we know that you are with your beloved Rae and are at peace in his arms which is where you belong. We know your sudden leaving was without suffering or pain and while we will sorely miss you forever. We have the many memories of all the happy times we shared together over five decades.
