Clio N. Pappas of New York, Chicago, Boston, Woods Hole, and Falmouth, MA passed away on Thursday, August Seventh, 2025. Clio was the second daughter of Dr. George D. Pappas and Bernice Pappas, long-standing associates of MBL (the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole). Loving, effervescent, sensitive, and kind, Clio will be remembered for her adoration of the sea and the singular beauty of maritime New England. Equally too, for her fondness for Caribbean get aways, for the blue of the water, for the heat of the sun, and above all, for the peerless cosmopolitan flair that she effortlessly brought to every occasion. Clio will be remembered for the sincerity of her smile and the authenticity of her presence, for her perpetual benevolence, tenacity, and grace.
