
Constance Leeds Bennett, aged 62, of Boston, Massachusetts and Watch Hill, Rhode Island, died peacefully on February 12, 2012 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late William Lauriston, proud mother of Lauriston, Corey and William. Delighted grandmother of Brecker and mother-in-law of Geoffrey and Jamie. Devoted daughter of Nancy and the late Richard Leeds. Younger sister to the late Douglas. Adored by her corgi, George. Trusted and loved by countless friends, both new and old. Graduated cum laude from both Dana Hall and Wellesely College and from Boston University School of Law. Author of The Silver Cup and The Unfortunate Son (Viking Juvenile). Retired lawyer, chicken farmer and hockey mom. Member of The Country Club, The Chilton Club, The Misquamicut Club and the Tuesday Club. Trustee of the Huntington Theatre Company. Memorial Services at Harvard University Memorial Church on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Bennett Family Book Fund at Phillips Exeter Academy or to the Huntington Theatre Company. Her grace and sharp wit will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
