

DAVIGNON- Craig A., 55, of Boston’s South End, died on July 14, 2010. Loving son of the late Roger and Shirley (Buckley) Davignon. Beloved brother of Joyce Lacaprucia and her husband Tom of Chicopee, Marc R. Davignon also of Chicopee, and the late Roger W. Davignon. Cherished uncle of Tommy, Toni, and Gabbi Lacaprucia, Marcie M. Davignon all of Chicopee, and Amy (Davignon) Thouin and her husband Dale of S. Hadley and their two children Corey and Hailee Thouin, and Brady Ison of Brimfield. Craig is also survived by his long time friends and associates, Gordon Wilcox and Bob (Bubba) Martin as well as many more friends and associates, too numerous to mention. A graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1973 and later graduating from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1979, where he was a proud member of Beta Kappa Phi. Craig also earned a double MBA from Babson College. He was a diehard Yankees fan, living in the heart of Boston. Craig got his start in the restaurant industry at Thompson’s Clam Bar and was currently the general manager and part owner of The Rattlesnake Bar and Grille, as well as other restaurants around Boston and Cambridge. A 25 year resident of Boston’s South End, he’s been a part of many Back Bay start ups, in the restaurant industry and will be sorely missed. A visitation will be held at the Boston Harborside Home 580 Commercial Street Boston MA on Thursday July 22, 2010 from 4-8PM, with a prayer service to be held at 7:00PM.
